Week ahead, 2–6 November: which release would change your plan first?

This week brings the labour data and two Nordic central bank decisions. The week-ahead calendar lists them day by day, with the times each agency publishes. Most of the data comes from the US: job openings on Tuesday, trade on Wednesday, productivity on Thursday and the payrolls report on Friday. The Riksbank and Norges Bank decisions fall between them, and each has its own preview: Riksbank and Norges Bank.

Questions for members:

  1. Which release on this list will you read first, and which will you leave for later?
  2. Do you cut your position size before a jobs report, or hold it through the release?
  3. If a single release this week could change your plan, which one would it be, and why?
