Risk warning
Trading forex and CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Read this before acting on anything you see on FTC.
Draft, 13 September 2026. This policy is a working draft and needs legal review before launch. Text in [brackets] is still to be filled in.
The short version
Forex, CFDs and other leveraged products are complex instruments. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and you can lose money quickly. Most retail traders who trade CFDs lose money. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Nothing on FTC is financial advice
Articles, news, broker reviews, comments and chat messages on FTC are for information and discussion. They are not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and they do not take your personal circumstances into account. Members are not authorised advisers unless they clearly say so and you have checked it yourself.
Broker loss figures
Brokers regulated in the UK and the EU must publish the percentage of their retail CFD accounts that lose money. Where a broker profile shows that figure, it comes from the broker's own disclosure on the date shown.
Market data
Prices, charts and calendar figures may be delayed or contain errors. Check prices with your broker before you trade.
Scams
FTC will never ask you for money, account passwords or remote access to your computer. Nobody from our team manages accounts or sells signals. Treat any such offer in chat, comments or private messages as a scam and report it.
