Profiles, trading accounts and the connector

Your public profile, your trading accounts, and the connector that keeps an account's figures up to date.

Your profile

Your profile is public by default, and you choose what it shows: links, trading accounts, your wall and your activity. It has a picture, a short signature under your name, a bio and your trading style. You can set it to private at any time.

Trading accounts

You can add up to ten trading accounts: demo or live, with the broker, platform and currency. Each one can show a Myfxbook, FX Blue or MQL5 link, and a widget. A MetaTrader 4 or 5 statement or CSV can be imported in your browser, so the file never leaves your device. FTC rechecks the trades before it stores them and labels the figures as not verified.

The connector

The FTC connector runs on your own Windows computer or VPS, where MetaTrader 5 is installed. It logs in with your investor (read-only) password, which stays on that machine. A connector that can trade is refused. Every hour it sends a summary to FTC: balance, equity, open positions and recent deals. The connector never sends your password or your login number.

Your account page shows the connector's status as live or disconnected, and when it last reported. Use the token on your trading account page to connect it, and stop the connector there at any time.

Public account pages

Each connected account has a public page with its balance, equity, open profit, net deposits, growth, max drawdown, a 30-day net profit line, open positions and closed trades. The figures come from the connector, FTC doesn't verify them, and past results don't predict future ones.

Your wall

Your wall is a short feed of posts on your profile. Images are links from approved image hosts, and videos are YouTube links. Nothing is stored on FTC's servers except your profile picture.
