How FTC makes money

FTC is free to use. We earn money from advertising and from affiliate agreements with some brokers: if you open an account through a link on our site, the broker may pay us a commission. It never costs you more.

What commissions don't change

• Editorial scores follow our published methodology whether or not a broker pays us.
• Negative member posts about a broker are never removed because the broker advertises with us.
• Brokers can't buy a higher position in rankings. Paid placements are labelled Sponsored.

Sponsored signal providers

Signal providers can pay for a featured place on the Signal providers page. Featured places are labelled Sponsored. Paying doesn't change the rules a provider follows, how their signals and results are shown, or how moderators treat them.

How to recognise affiliate links

Links to brokers that pay us carry the note “We may earn a commission” next to them, and are marked as sponsored for search engines.
