Points are recognition only
Points show what you have contributed to FTC. They are not money, not a coin, and they can't be sold, transferred or cashed out. Points start counting after your monetization application is approved.
One point counts for each discussion you start, each answer or comment you write on news or a discussion, and each reply another member leaves on your discussion. Only visible posts count.
Identity checks
You can verify your identity through Didit, an identity-check provider, on Didit's own secure page. FTC stores only the outcome, not your documents or images. A verified profile is an identity check or an active Verified Trader membership.
Monetization applications
To apply, you need a verified profile, a profile picture and 100 posts. An admin checks each application by hand: the posts must be real, original and follow the community rules. Automatic AI-written text doesn't qualify. A rejection comes with a note on what to fix.
