China's National Bureau of Statistics reported that the industrial capacity utilization rate of enterprises above the designated size was 73.1% in the third quarter of 2026. That is down 1.5 percentage points from the same quarter a year earlier ([NBS release, 20 October 2026](http://www.stats.gov.cn/english/PressRelease/202610/t20261020_1965659.html)).
