Global chat now has reactions, replies and @mentions. What should we improve next?

The global chat has been updated to work more like a live stream chat:

• the newest messages appear at the bottom, next to the message box
• you can react to a message with one of seven emoji
• you can reply to a message, and your reply shows a short quote of the original
• typing @ suggests usernames, and messages that mention you are highlighted

Links are still limited to approved signal providers, and connected members can send each other private text messages from the Messages tab.

Tell us what works and what doesn't:

• Are reactions and replies easy to use on a phone?
• Would you like notifications when someone mentions you?
• Is anything about the chat rules unclear?
