Where your discussion can go
- Beginners: Pips, lots, leverage, platforms and the questions everyone asks in their first year.
- Strategy Talk: Setups, sessions, backtests and trade management. Explain the idea, not a signal to copy.
- Broker Experiences: Deposits, withdrawals, spreads and support as members actually experienced them.
- Market Chat: Central banks, data releases and what is moving gold and the majors this week.
- Trading Psychology: Discipline, journaling, drawdowns and the habits that keep traders in the game.
- Site Feedback: Suggestions, bugs and questions about how FTC works.
Before you post
- Be specific: the pair, timeframe and broker account you mean make replies far more useful.
- Share your own reasoning. Posts that sell signals, courses or account management, or promise profits, are removed.
- Keep links and contact details out of posts; your website and channels belong on your profile.
- A new account's first discussion is checked by a moderator before it appears.
The full rules are in the community guidelines.
What a useful question looks like
“Is gold going up?” gets opinions. “I trade XAU/USD on the 1-hour chart with a 0.5% risk per trade; how do you size positions before a US CPI release?” gets experience. Say what you already tried, what happened and what you're unsure about, and add the numbers: account currency, lot size, stop distance in pips.
What happens after you post
Your discussion appears in its category and in the forum's latest list, and search engines can find it. Members reply below it, and you can follow the conversation from your account. Related FTC guides and news are shown next to it, so readers can check the basics, such as position sizing or leverage and margin, without leaving the thread.
