What does a good withdrawal process look like? Share how yours went
Withdrawals are where a broker's promises meet reality, and they are one of the most useful things members can share with each other.
Useful details to include
- The broker, and the company or regulator your account is with (check your client agreement)
- The payment method: bank transfer, card or e-wallet
- When you requested the withdrawal and when the money arrived
- Any fees, extra identity checks or requests from support along the way
What to leave out
Please don't post account numbers, screenshots with personal details or links. Stick to what happened to you; claims about a broker you haven't used belong elsewhere.
Red flags other members should know about
Being asked to pay a "tax", "unlock fee" or "insurance" before a withdrawal is released is a classic sign of a fraudulent operation, not a normal broker process. If that has happened to you, say so here and report the firm to your national regulator.
How long did your last withdrawal take?
