Pipette, point, tick: what do these mean on your platform?
Different platforms slice price differently. A pipette is a tenth of a pip, a point is often the same thing in MetaTrader, and a tick is the smallest price change — but brokers define these terms in their own ways.
Post the platform you use and what these words mean there, especially if you've been confused by a broker's "points" not matching pips. The community can sort the differences out together.
The pip guide explains the standard definitions.
